DuckHairback, I've been wondering what your avatar is a picture of. I like it but I don't know what it is!

I figured this is as good a place to ask if any.

I've been a member here for a long time but I mostly lurk or feel I have nothing worthwhile to say.

I generally don't seek conversations from strangers...but I often try for a chuckle. I find humor to be a good lubricant and have been cultivating a dry sense of humor. If I can get someone to chuckle they generally seem to be more tolerant and polite to me. All of this. I like humour and being fun...

^Yeah, if countries could get together and come up with universal bra sizes, then there wouldn't be so much confusion.

My bra tags list a number of different countries' bra sizes and there is so much variation.

Thank you for the link, that site has my size! :D

I've gotten nothing positive from being autistic. I could have been a successful psychologist if I could look people in the eye and not be afraid of people I don't know. I could have a paying job where I volunteer if I could deal with customers, work on the till and answer the phone. If I think abou...

"You're not like other women."

"Why?"

"You like Star Trek."

Lol, this was my ex-boyfriend, who obviously thought only males like Star Trek.

I have to tie my hair back a lot (for work) and so I use hair spray to keep stray hair from sticking out. This means I have to wash my hair twice a week. I tried once a week but the hair spray build-up got stuck to my scalp no matter how much I brushed my hair. I don't like washing my hair because I...

I haven't had a period for over 20 years and I've never been pregnant or had a baby. I've never looked after kids either. So I guess it's no surprise that I don't really feel female. My mum uses the word androgynous to describe me. I work with other women but when they start talking about their kids...

Maybe Jamesy's broken nose is a reason why women won't date him? :chin: Not to be mean or anything, but some people do discriminate against facial disfigurements. I have a lazy eye to So do I. For some reason in the past two years it's gotten worse even though I wear prismatic lenses. I'm consideri...

Once someone at work poked me on the shoulder. It's a sore point because of fibromyalgia so I yelled "Ow!" They backed away in shock because of my reaction. So I said I was sorry and explained why her light poke hurt me so much. I'm good at pretending that pats on the back and such don't b...

The reason why grapefruit is singled out is for back when the grapefruit diet was popular (I don't remember exactly when, but my sister tried it). A lot of people found their medications weren't working. In the early 2000s I took Tegretol (carbamazepine) and that had a grapefruit warning in the pape...

Welcome from the West. 8)

I once worked at KFC. However, I only lasted two weeks because I wasn't a "people person". So I admire you for being able to work there.

Could you tell us more about Rostrum?

I just bought a new mattress, so all day I can't wait until night time when I can sleep on it. But it used to be the case that I looked forward to bed time because the days were so tedious and I didn't want to be awake. I was going through depression then. The right medication helped to turn that ar...

I wish I could but I have a very feminine body shape. I also have long hair that I either straighten with a GHD or wear in a ponytail. Despite that, I never wear skirts or dresses or low-cut tops. I wear t-shirts and pants or trackies.

I was nearly 17 when I got my first period. It was so heavy that I had to get up in the night four+ times to change my pad. It was as if it was trying to make up for being late compared to average girls. For years from there it was always heavy and never regular. In my early twenties my period went ...

The refresh rate of your tv may be less than that of your computer screen. That could possibly give you headaches, especially at night if there are no lights on around you. I went to see a specialist about my headaches (rise in temperature, sweating, waves of nausea + the bad headache) and they coul...
