That's just my opinion...

OK....Donnie Darko isn't obscure at all... Where I live, it's ridiculously popular. When I first watched it, I wanted to hate it so badly... I ended up watching it 11 times, and loving every minutes of it. And of course, another vote for the infamous Pink Flamingos! (That was real dog crap that Divi...

Nosferatu, Faust, and Metropolis are some of the best films ever made.
I can't stand Mary Pickford or Charlie Chaplin either.

Yeah, I've heard that, too.
I don't know, maybe it is a dark comedy.
In many ways, Psycho was too.
Hitchcock was amazing.

Wow, I have seen so many foreign films...
I'm a huge fan of Ingmar Bergman.
I would have to say my favorite foreign film is Persona, followed closely by The Seventh Seal.
Persona is my favorite film of all time.

Oldboy was amazing too.
Some great plot twists there.

I think I preferred Oldboy overall though.

I don't look at The Shining as an adaptation really...
More like a reworking.
Kubrick took King's OK book and screwed with it, producing one of the most amazing films ever put to celluloid.

Kubrick did King a favor.

The opening credits of Psycho scared me to death.
Extremely stylish.
When I first watched the movie, I was scared crapless.

Well, I loved the film.
It's definitely the BEST super hero movie ever made.

However...number 1 on IMDB????
No way.

I don't think most people really understand what went on in Borat...it was like freaking candid camera on an enormous level. It was ruined by annoying people quoting it though... I just watched Straw Dogs, Persona, Palindromes, and American Beauty (for the tenth time. My favorite film.) All were ast...

Kakihara went crazy...and before he died, he hallucinated that Ichi killed the kid, when in fact he didn't. This is because Kakihara sees Ichi as a monster, when he's really a total coward. Once he believes this, he commits suicide in his madness. On his way down, he feels his life is complete. Then...
