I guess we both misunderstood the tone of our initial posts. Anyway, there is a difference between our concepts of the term orbit and also between our approaches to astronomy. That's ok. I never see an argument as something to win or to lose but as something where both parties can get some understan...

I also hate an avoid the "what is your favorite music? movie? etc" type of question. I hope of finding people who shares my interests and tastes without having to reveal them first. The following sentence describes me so well that I have to thank you for expressing my exact thoughts in words: I real...

I get the feeling of being observed too. I get it at my workplace when walking into the cafeteria (that's why I almost never go there). I get it when I'm a shopping too. I'm in a bookshop and I'm looking at some book. If there's people nearby, I think they are watching me and judging me by that boo...

Yes. The god of thunder and lightning.

He had a hammer called Mjolnir that he used to kill giants and threads and giant threads like this one.

No, lau. I didn't proceed to argue with you. I just replied to your first post to clear your doubts about how many moons the Earth has and to confirm that Cruithne is really not a moon. It was just a little clarification. Then you replied saying that: Cruithne has a most peculiar orbit about the Ear...

I think I made my point clear enough. Anyone who reads this argument should be able to see the difference between what you say and what I say: You created a new definition for the term "moon" and then classified celestial bodies according to this definition. It makes no sense to try to convince you ...

Me: Walking around like regular threads. They don't see each other. They only see what they want to see. They don't know they'r...

Your definition is interesting but it radically changes the concept of "moon". For example, under the current concept, nobody would say that Mars is a moon of the Earth.

(Oh, I think the collision with Andromeda is expected in 2 or 3 billion years. I'm looking forward to that! :) )
