Had to block a friend, we'll call them A, today because they f*cked up in a major way and don't seem to feel a shred of remorse. Mutual, B, wants us to work it out but the only way that's going to happen is if A grows a conscience and takes a few levels in respect and common sense. I don't see it ha...

I meant you could pretend you didn't really know you had ASD when you first got the job and that you just found out. Then they wouldn't say "but you never told us in the interview". Also this. I think you have to become a little more comfortable with harmles dishonesty in order to succeed...

If its a job where social interaction is required, skip that agony all together. If theres no other choice, act fake like everyone else does. I can't skip it. Retail is about the only thing in my area that I'm qualified for - doesn't require a degree or the ability to drive - and I need a paying jo...

Missed an interview because my family decided not to take me to it (i can't drive). Even though they claim they want me to get a job.

I like the idea but I wish the outfit wasn't so boring! Glam her up a bit come on. The accessories are giving autism tide of tik-tok tbh. Blue hair alt kids called Sock and Bug showing off their twee toys. That being said I do actually kind of want one just for the keyboard thingy. I was going to p...

I saw this today and figured I'd post about it since it's relevant to this community. I also thought it would be wise to post my thoughts in a reply instead of at the end of the article post. I'm going to be perfectly honest - I don't like it. I don't mean that I don't like doll, on her own the doll...

https://www.theguardian.com/society/2026/jan/12/mattel-launches-its-first-autistic-barbie With an animated Barbie film in development, following the success of Greta Gerwig’s 2023 blockbuster movie, Mattel Studios will certainly have a diverse range of characters to bring to life. On Monday, Mattel ...

Had an interview yesterday and just got the rejection. My family was supposed to pick me up after the interview but decided to stop for fast food so I was left standing in the freezing cold for half an hour. Now I'm sick.

Is it a good idea to tell them you're autistic at an interview? For anybody that's familiar with my previous topic, I still haven't managed to find a job. I've been trying for more than a decade but all I'm really qualified for and all that's available in the area is retail, which relies heavily on ...

My family. I'm kind of really upset about this too. One of my family members keeps a calendar. I caught a glimpse of it today and saw that she had written down b*tch as my name for an appointment I have next month.

Steam Support. They're just as terrible as always. Any time I need to talk to them their response essentially amounts to "sucks to be you" and they close the ticket. Having a problem where an item that's listed as being on sale for 50% off, has the sale price listed as the price on it's st...

I fell down our front stairs today. My family has just left all but one of them covered in ice so I've had to be extremely careful any time I've gone outside, but I finally lost the gamble today while taking out the trash and slipped. I'm in pain but I'm pretty sure I'm not really injured. Still ups...

They actually do sell those on Etsy, multiple variations in fact.
If I had my own place I'd have a fence with a "go away" sign and then a doormat on the front porch that says "If you can read this then you're too close" or "Clearly, you must not know how to read".
