In my area sorry can have a different meaning, if you call someone sorry(depends on the context) it can mean lazy/bad.

Over yonder means over there.

I've heard pop and Co-cola as words for soft drinks, but i always say Soda.

I often find myself forgetting to swallow, whether it is coffee, soda, gatorade or water. I often take a drink of something and forget to swallow for several minutes. Several minutes later i realize that the fluid is still in my mouth and i then swallow. Does this happen to anyone else?

I used to work in a big retail store and one day i came in to a big water leak that had just been fixed. The only problem was that plenty of water was still sitting on the floor. My manager did his duty and assigned several people to mop up the water. I casually asked him why he didn't use the big s...

Are there 2 different kinds of situation? In a crowd of strangers, I could explode from having people close to me. But in a one-on-one conversation, I am likely to disregard boundaries. It sounds a bit like 'all or nothing' doesn't it? I'm the same way. If i'm around people that i know and trust i ...

I generally "see" sounds, although what i see doesn't always correspond with what i hear. Generally i just see what resembles "white noise" or "static" from a television that isn't picking up anything. That goes on 24 hours a day regardless of what i am hearing. Most of the time(but not always) i se...

Anthony Hopkins was the star of the movie and he did an excellant job. The character had to be an aspie. One part sticks in my memory, he had to go to a party and since his toenails had grown too long to fit in his shoes, he used one of his powertools to grind his toenails down. Also, someone mentio...

It's sound for me, I can't stand the sound that the TV makes when its time for the emergency broadcasting system. It drives me crazy even if i'm in a different room. I also can't stand the sound the TV makes every time the channel is changed, it makes an audible sound that is extemely annoying to me...

I've heard many times that having an index finger shorter than your ring finger is a sign of autism. But, how many people here actually have index fingers that are shorter than your ring fingers? Of all the people that i have looked at, only my dad and myself have shorter index fingers. How does you...

I'm from Ohio, but moved to a more Southern state when I was 12. I assume I've got an Ohio accent to this day, people tell me I don't sound like I'm from around here, but there are situations where I'll slide into an Applacian accent, but I'm pretty sure that's conscious. (I almost always do it whe...

To all of you that have had a best friend, what was your favorite activity involving your best friend? For me, it was video games in our younger years, and as we grew up enough to drive we started to work on cars for fun. What was your experience with friends? The games we played usually involved sh...
