Kids cry, moms yell. It is not always about bad parenting, sometimes it is just stress in the moment Yeah but the mom at the playground could have handled things and stress better!! ! The mother at the thrift shop actually did the correct action by calmly removing her and her daughter from the situ...

I can do it, I just hate it so I don't. If I'm meeting someone new, I don't care about what they do for work so I'm not going to ask it. No matter what they say, the answer will be neither relevant, interesting or provide me with beneficial information. It's kind of weird. I'm not shy or afraid to ...

You just think differently than other people. It doesn't mean you have a personality disorder. Perhaps think of small talk as a means to an end. You don't have to be interested in what people say, but it helps. It's like the path you have to follow to get to the beautiful garden. There's also nothin...

The thing about small talk is that it is a way for a lot of people to get over the initial embarrassment or anxiety of meeting new people. If you want to go out and meet new people, you generally can't immediately jump into an in depth conversation about x. You have to ascertain in some way if they ...

Small talk is a social convention among people. A lot of people have difficulty with silence. It makes them feel uncomfortable or anxious and so they engage in discussions about unimportant things in order to fill the silence. Small talk is also a way of sounding out people in an unfamiliar environm...

Asking people questions about themselves can work in those situations. What do you do for a living? What do you do for fun? Things like that. I'm interested in everything so when people tell me what their hobbies are for example I then get really interested and so I can ask them more questions. Peop...

That's the best meal I have ever tasted! Out of my top ten meals ever that's number 3! |

Think about children in this way. They're a blank slate because they're new to the world and so they are learning how to behave. They are not aware of how to behave in certain contexts and it is the act of parenting that demonstrates boundaries and through discipline moulds the ethical outlook and b...

It depends but most are chilled.
A lot of lager is drunk in the UK. It tastes terrible but is drinkable chilled. Trying it warm is disgusting. It is not good
It depends on the drink but you're not going to get warm beer in a UK pub (and I wouldn't class lager as beer). |

It's to provide you with support within the wider community. Wearing a sunflower lanyard is an unobtrusive way to identify yourself as potentially requiring support, either generally in how people treat you or if you are struggling. There are practical benefits. For example, in airports you can be f...
