No, they have a lot to gain as it makes people more likely to watch their channel. They only want us to watch their channel so they can show us ads which they're paid for showing. If consumer spending drops, so do advertising budgets, and so does the revenue of the network. It's all quite simple, r...

Hey Khan, why don't you tell us what a hudna is? You know, the Koran's instruction to lie to your enemy with a phony offer of peace, in order to lull him into a sense of tranquility while you re-load to wipe him out? That's Islam's foreign policy. The hudna. I could cherry pick any one of 100 verse...

Israel's right to return to its God-given homeland has nothing to do with the Holocaust.

Why should someone belonging to another religion, or no religion, for that matter, give a whit what the Jews were promised in their holy book by their imaginary god?

Why can't we stand on our own strength as we normally do? I mean, there are some recession worries but really the economy isn't *that* bad. The reason why everyone thinks we are collapsing is because of the media rather than looking at the facts, as our unemployment rate is still in a healthy range...

And you care about the racial makeup of your neighborhood, why?

Politicians are puppets. Bill Clinton, during his term, helped pave the way for Bush to invade Iraq. Theyr all on the same team. "Liberal" and "conservative" are just there to divide the masses and breed people into idiotic group think, to make people care more about their social cliques than the f...

Mexico, troubled as it may be, is still a great country, yet only a single member of the world community. Again nothing against Mexicans, but they are no more entitled to freedom and democracy than people from other countries are. America is a melting pot, not a bowl of bean dip. Translation="I hav...

Not at all. You knew where I'm from, and that no doubt influenced how you communicated with me. Your thoughts just got me really curious, because you don't seem to know much about world politics. Neither do you, because you're under a vastly mistaken impression of what people in other nations think...

I'm not a right winger. It seemed to be the most likely explanation, since it's mainly right-wingers that complain they can no longer get away with calling minorities by terms the other person finds offensive. You still haven't explained what political correctness has to do with Che Guevara t-shirt...

This question has always stunted me. Just thought I'd post pics of the early stages of the human fetus to give you an idea. I personally think late term abortion is just as bad as murdering a baby because their nerves are already developed. I'm not sure what those pictures are intended to prove oth...

The original post reflects an unfortunate tendency by rightwingers to try to draw a connection between two things they dislike when in fact there is no connection between them.

Teaching of evolution = abortion
Selling drugs = terrorism
etc.

I have no idea what mistaken ideas about the morals of Che Guevara have to do with political correctness. It's silly to conflate the two as they have no relationship.

And yet, you so easily fathom other countries attempting to dictate American policy.

America does far more of that by wielding the carrot and the stick to other countries to make policies harmonious with our own.
