It has do a lot with misogyny. Girls aren't usually referred to doctors and when they are, it is often dismissed as whining, hormones or because of their social life. Girls who are diagnosed early have more severe presentations of autism while girls diagnosed later have milder presentations or had n...

It depends on the therapist. I've had bad therapists and it took several years for me to make progress. I think it also has to do with what you go for help with. If you don't talk about your low self-esteem, the therapist won't work on it (although if it turns out to be the source of an issue then i...

However, if people know I'm a lesbian and they hear that I don't have a girlfriend, then the response becomes 'well maybe having a girlfriend would encourage you to improve yourself and get your life together', which is rude. Bold of you to assume I require a partner for that. I mean, my life is a ...

Unless you get a really high paying job and nothing bad ever happens - you could get a house.

Its basically impossible for the average person.

I have tons of books because of the same habits but since I have bouts of homelessness, I never keep them that long. I have been collecting all my life.

Limited range of emotion / exaggerated emotion. Rigidity. Lack of understanding of personal space. Can't be touched / too touchy ( I hate being touched by randos and at times, while desperately needing to hug someone at other times)

Its very common that women don't think of men outside of a caricature or implicit bias which often says men can't be pretty or that as a woman, they are forced to like men. And a more popular sentiment is to hate men all together and to shame anyone who is attracted to men, who are men, and those wh...

I am in another forum designed for young adults and one of the threads is about finding friends. I started talking to someone (months ago) , doing my best to engage with their interests until they stopped messaging back. Since then, they make periodic posts about having no one to talk to. Since the ...

I have watched season 1 about 8 times and am excited for the new season. There's some talk that they are filming season 3 already.

The cast looks pretty good, the teaser is okay.

I want to see the buggy mobile, most of all.

I don't think it necessarily needs it, its just something nice to have. Some games function better with their original software.

I'm sure you've heard this numerous times but look into borderline personality disorder or at least the strategies used to manage it.
Managing is always the first step.

I think it was a good move since there are far too many remakes and a remaster is a breath of fresh air. I dont think that metal gear needs to be remade since the series is basically finished but i would love if they ported peace walker to a modern system - with proper upscaling. I wouldn't necessar...

I wish they wouldn't. Most of the time children are born out of desperation to save a relationship or the ever so selfish wanting to continue a bloodline / 'have something that is theirs'. I'm sure there are children born out of a genuine love but even those are often tossed aside once they become t...
