I'm not a big sports buff but I am always impressed with martial arts (I take Hapkido, myself). The physical ability and the precision of the moves are quite awe inspiring. Knowing exactly how the body works and exploiting the weakpoints is always very interesting, as are the various philosophies. O...

This is an inherent problem for me. I'm still undiagnosed (and honestly starting to doubt that I could have Aspergers - before I was quit confident that I did have it) but I do have quite a strong interest in 90s Hollywood Cinema. I know quite a few of the major Oscar winners in the time, and can us...

I asked my female friend to "put in a good word for me" once and she adamently said "No! That's up to you! I'm not your pimp." And i was like "geez, i just said put in a good word, not pimp me." Do girls always not like to help guy friends in this manner??? Or is it just her? I must have generous f...

It's the way of the world. Women are social creatures. Men tend to be more isolationists (if that's a word).

I say, if you want to talk to her, try and find a time when she's alone. If she has a class that her friends DON'T take, and that you do, that's your best bet.

Thanks again for all the replies. Her knowledge about pleasure inhibition for girls comes from a friend who feels an irritation when using condoms. I have a feeling she wouldn't have the same problem (given that allergies are rare and - without trying to sound egonmaniacal or put people off their di...

You don't love her. Don't have sex with her. I am pro-choice, but what you are offering this girl is not a choice. No girl or woman should ever be pressured to have an abortion, whether you're ready for responsibility or not!! This is the wrong attitude and I don't know why she is still considering...

Hey toddjh, Can you point me to a page where the reliability factor of condoms and the pill are compared? I always thought condoms were the safest... :? If that fact is proven true, I will be more open to it, provided she agrees to abort if she falls pregnant. Anyway, thanks for the replies (more fr...

Hey, My girlfriend and I are considering the possibility of having sex on a weekend trip in early December. Neither of us are certain about it (which to me is natural), but her thought process about it concerns me. She has basically laid two ground rules. First, no way sex will happen if we don't ge...

Thanks for the recommendation but I've already mad my purchase. :D

I ended up getting a Gigabyte 6600 GT. My P4 2.6 GHz can play Battlefront II at 80 fps at 1024x768 (which is the highest resolution my old 15 inch monitor supports), which is very good by me.

Thanks everyone!

Thanks, I looked it up. I also saw a Gigabyte model for an extra $10. Is XFX a reputable brand in video cards? From my anicent memories, Gigabte were solid with motherboards by I don't know how good they were with cards... Btw, since my main board is Asus, would it be recommended to go for an Asus v...

While I'm thinking of it, I'd like to post my video card necessities if you don't mind me doing so. I'm running a computer bought back in June 2003 on an Asus P4PE motherboard with a 'ye olde' GeForce4 MX440 video card. I want to buy Star Wars Battlefront II when it comes out, and it specifically do...
