Straight up Pavlov.. do the behavior, get the... |

| I get ticks quite a bit. Not sure whether they're to do with Video Games or not. Have you tried Rispiridone? No, I've never given him medications. The ticks only lasted not more than 2 weeks and disappeared. If they were affecting his life, and hindering him, then I would take it into consideration... |

| Possibly I'm not explaining myself right.. it's a philosophical question.. What does the label mean anyway.. who is neurotypical? It seems to me the word "normal' mean nothing, as everyone I've ever met seems to have something going on... when I think about how many people have something going on.. ... |

| I would agree with the points Nan makes...many of us learned to function inspite of no DX and no specia services and it has helped us become more independent in some ways. There would be one exception that I can think of and that is if he turns to his special interest as a form of stimming(self soo... |

I was thinking.. what exactly does Neurotypical mean.. who is neurotypical? I don't just mean 'not on the spectrum' I mean who is to say or define this, and wh... |

It means neurotypical, and not on the spectrum, but that's interesting an question philosophically... I will bring it to that forum. |

| Thanks, for your good suggestions! Johnny is still young, has an immature pov and extremely motivated by getting what he wants.. He will have to learn the value of success. even if that success comes from doing something you don't necessarily want to do.. It's hard, he has alot of opposition to doin... |

Anyone ever have a problem with video games causing ticks?
My son loves his video games, but when he plays them too much, he gets an uncontrollable blinking tick.... anyone experience anything like that? or know of someone who has?
Thanks for your input.. |

| Seems there are several jealous women in this thread :-p It at least seems that way. I haven't noticed a correlation between intelligence and attractiveness in women. A person may not look the most asthetically pleasing on the outside, but when you get to know their minds, they can somehow look mor... |

I always feel at home with this and it's made me the happiest in my life...But when others see me they point and laugh and I just don't care. But nowadays it's really getting to me. On the o... |

I am looking to listen, and to learn, to help my son get along better in the world. My goal, as a person in the Autistic community, is to get the worl... |
