I would like to have a cat but I'm so permanently exhausted that even taking care of a cat is beyond my ability. |

I don't think the question of whether homeless people are likely to get dates is really the topic of this thread. (I do think that homeless people date other homeless people and that for women who are homeless finding a man to have a relationship (of sorts) with is a way to get shelter and some meas... |

I dream fairly often but my dreams are mostly mundane, in which ordinary things happen that might happen in real life, though a feature of my dreams is that they are often about architectural spaces, or at least the architecture of the space I'm in is a prominent feature and I'm often in spaces like... |

But I can already hear the boomers loudly complaining about snowflakes and wokeism. I strongly disagree and take issue with the notion that "boomers" are anything. It's ageist, first of all. And it's a very multifaceted demographic with lots of different points of view. I think whe... |

I have had most of what makes up a normal life taken away from me by my chronic illness (ME/CFS or chronic fatigue syndrome), more so than my mild autism I think, but I have a very hard time making friends and associating with people, which is made much worse by my inability to get out and do normal... |

Because of my chronic illness (ME/CFS or chronic fatigue syndrome) which has me feeling exhausted literally all of the time, drinking alcohol or smoking weed just make me feel worse, more tired, so I generally avoid them. On occasion I will have one beer when I go out somewhere with my boyfriend, th... |

Well, now technically yesterday (it's late)... I had to see a podiatrist to get my broken pinky toe checked on. I broke it last Monday. The podiatrist said the ER doctor didn't reset it properly, so he reset it. It took 3 tries. So painful! It's a really bad dislocated fracture of the middle phalan... |

I don't know if it had a name but the elementary school I went to had no grades, no homework, and during the school day you could work on any subject you wanted on your own time. I did manage to have two friends whom I followed around all day long, so I managed okay, and there were some good things ... |

I haven't seen the movie Dazed and Confused but I completely agree that 19 years is way way too broad to define a generation. I was born in 1964 so I am technically the last of the boomers, but I have no experience in common with those who grew up in and were old enough to be participants in the tum... |

I asked the initial question but never answered it. For me, I kind of know right away, although I have never gotten together with someone who wasn't already someone I knew slightly, either because we were in school together or belonged to a broad friend group, so they weren't a total stranger, and t... |

I have a tendency to feel apologetic for being awkward and tongue tied but I have learned that people don't like hearing "I'm sorry." It just comes off as annoying to other people and it's better to just try to go with the flow, awkwardness and all. |
