I don't think he was referring as much to what we still don't know (such minutiae as how exactly certain metabolic pathways may have developed and whatnot) as explanations of, for example, why F=ma. It's true, we know it's true, we can see it in action... but why does the universe operate in such a...

JimmyJazz, I think you cool that you can reject their propaganda... but what DO you accept as factual? Sorry, missed this earlier. I accept that there is no scientific explanation as to -why- all the 'rules' of the universe hold true. They tell me how those rules work, show me those rules at work.....

i haven't tried dmt and supposedly that stuff is the key to the human soul or whatever. From what I've read, the vast majority of those who take it come back not feeling, but 'absolutely certain' there is an afterlife. The accounts I've read are wild and vary in some ways, but have a lot of very in...

Shocking, another teenager who has figured out all the truths of the universe. I've spent time with every major religion and most not-so-well-known, and I've considered atheism too. Although atheists will in the most part be very quick to tell you NOTHING ELSE EVEN MAKES SENSE GOD IS AN IMAGINARY FR...

I knew you'd read it if I said that. Sorry, I only clicked on the thread because I'm a proofreader, not a "Chirstian". ;) Maybe you should have called it "Own-lee clikke heer iff yu kante spel." Hey now, we all know the atheists hold the intellectual high ground in this discussion, so scienti...

Hey look, a thread asking a simple question and specifically stating it sin't for debate turns into "LAWL GOD IS FAKE AND FOR DUMMIES" in just under ten posts.
I'm a theist of no specific category, or I suppose all of them depending on how you look at it. |

I really enjoy it, even traded Smash Bros in to get it....I'm impressed with the game overall, and it's nice that they finally have a game with online service that works well.
I'll post my code later on. |

A lot seem to be though you should talk to them and tell them they are setting a bad example  Well, the only constructive thing I've seen atheists do in the name of their fairy-tale is try to start internet fights with Christians. So I'd say this is just the pot calling the kettle black. (No s...

The D/L content is supposedly going to be entirely new cities you can fly to, such as Vice City and San Andreas...so I think that's pretty neat. Also, in terms of it making sense - the D/L content is a big reason why the 360 edition is outselling the PS3 edition, so I really can't fault Microsoft fo...

Yes I realize that OBVIOUSLY aspies survived without the internet; which is why we're around today. But once the taste for the.net has been aquired.....it CANNOT be suppressed. How would it be "better" for our culture? Would also be "better for our culture" to get rid of computers all together?What...

I like it. I wouldn't have given it the "10 out of 10" and "Perfect!" reviews it managed to get everywhere, but I like it. The graphics update is great, but objects still often don't materialize until you're in front of them. There are also a lot of mini-freezes and such. The physics are amazing and...

I couldnt disagree More. I personally would be helpless to do any sort of meaningful research/communication without the internet. Among OTHER things............Teh.Net is as indispensible as the computer itself. I find it HORRIBLY IRONIC that you as an aspie think dependency on machines is such a b...

It's funny that so many of the same people who mock 'blind followers' of a given faith blindly follow Richard Dawkins, a fellow who has made a living off presenting the same weak arguments the Internet Atheist Militia ™ makes, except instead of sounding like an angsty teenager whose only experience ...

The 'burning up' is indeed the 'three red rings of death'. Like NewRotIck said, it is caused by a hardware failure inherent to a good deal of the early systems, but it happens to enough of the newer ones to make it worth considering too. For some reason the black, more expensive 'elite' models seem ...

The 360 is the better system, overall. It has more games, it has better exclusive titles, it has a vastly superior online service, and games play better on it(in terms of framerate, glitches, etc). The PS3 has a bluray player and better graphics, but that's about it. If you want multimedia it may be...
