Thanks, K4NNW. I'll post my question in the jobs forum. Maybe Dale Carnegie is just for being successful on the job. Social rules in corporations are even way weirder than just regular social life.

Hi, I just had a job interview for a technical writing position for software. They asked me, "How would write to accommodate neurodiversity." I was so happy that they asked the question, but I wasn't sure how to answer. How about, "Make it make sense to me." (Then that would leav...

Anybody ever have to tell their company what accommodations they might need for Aspergers on the job? Did you get them from your doctor?

Hi, I live in Northern California. My company clearly does not appreciate my straightforward style as a technical writer in my relationships with Product Managers. Technical writers are treated by Product Managers like nurses are by doctors. My bosses are clearly trying to do everything they can to ...

Wow! Very interesting! I would like to talk more about that, but have to get back to work! For starts, some PMs don't answer the questions I ask. They answer what they think I should know, but leave me not understanding the thing I asked about. Don't hear the question and don't want to get it right....

Sorry, I haven't been on line for such a long time, but one goes into denial. I thought I was just fine. It was several years ago that my therapist agreed I have Asperger's. But I feel fine. Meanwhile, I'm at my job for 7 years, and never promoted. I come to find out that the main reason is my relat...

"Trump is currently under investigation for fraud. And it's pretty clear that he bilked young students out of millions of dollars with a scam college." Read Why We Want You to Be Rich by Trump and Kirosaki: I would love to have the opportunity to learn from the Trump team, but you have to ...

Coming from Philadelphia, I have followed Donald Trump for 40 years. His integrity has never been called into question until those in power who have something to hide have done so. Wanting borders on a country is not racist. It's just common sense. Criminals say, "Head for the border!" to ...

I'm 62 and have very little savings for retirement. I work for a "good" company. Lots of stock options. They're my only hope that I know of now. Bad news: My boss hates me. Good news: we grew as a company so someone was hired to manage our team who's very nice, but the mean boss is still a...

I think they are talking about degrees. Parents with neuro-typical kids want to strangle them sometimes, but they don't do it. Disturbing fantasies can happen a lot in situations you don't know what to do, but you find help and solutions. They know it's just a cheap escape. People who suffer more di...

I guess it is ok to say that the talk was given at work, because you don't know where I work. But it's no big deal, just that it's a legal agreement. Anyway, I went to the talk and it was not as bad as I expected. My impression is that Autism Speaks is working very hard to understand the scientific ...
