I really enjoyed Billy the Kid. Too bad it's one of those indie films that only people in certain places can see.

It can't hurt.

It really sucks to do poorly on a test not because you didn't know the material but because you weren't able to finish it. So if you're able to get that kind of accommodation, go for it!

I think everybody has trouble controlling emotions. With us, though, it has the capacity to exacerbate our condition.

I just had something unfortunate happen with my job search. I had a couple offers from different companies (for internships). I made them wait about three or so weeks so I could finish up interviews and receive other offers. Then, after I finally accepted a job from a Cambridge startup, freakin' Goo...

Nuttdan, Yeah, it IS odd! Well all know 3 and 4 are false. 1? Well, his brain is not like ANYBODY'S here! Is there even another that has like one big brain? I'm kind of in the #2 camp(I've been called a geek and am good with computers/science), but many here aren't. Yup, me too. But sometimes folks...

I put a profile up on that site a few weeks ago. Looks like there are some decent girls in my area too. We'll see what happens. :)

Personally, I dislike and distrust activism. It can't become political. I agree. This is why I haven't taken much of a shine to groups like Aspies for Freedom. They can come off as really extreme and political, even when they don't mean to. The movie "Inconvenient truth" is, ostensibly, a film abou...

I haven't posted here in a long while since I handed the site over to Alex. I regret kind of watching from the sidelines as I've pursued other things and started college. A lot has changed in the past couple years. The site's grown a ton, and Asperger's has gained much more public awareness. Problem...

I started earlier this year using the small black notebook I carry around in my pocket to help me with social skills. I have a couple pages in my "reference" section where I've just written tips I've picked up on socializing that I review every few days. I write down the names and details of people ...

Ugh, I'm having the *exact* same problem. When I start college, I've got an 8:00'er and I want to be prepared, so I've been getting up early. I can get up okay, but I'm just tired or grumpy for the rest of the day, regardless of how much sleep I've had. It feels terrible. I wanna go back to my old s...

I didn't know the mere use of NT, regardless of context, was against neurodiversity. :: sings the abbreviation to tune of mexican hat dance :: But I think the answer is yes, NTs can understand potentially. Many can't and won't make the effort. But among any arbitrary group of people there will be th...

Man, I've got the same problem. I sit down to check my mail, then end up on Wikipedia for two hours, somehow going from Air Force One to pygmies to Charles In Charge. It's insane. One thing I do when I'm working is I have a little kitchen timer that tells me when I can stop working. Maybe the same w...

I love when Peter's flying out of a cannon and they cut to a scene where this guy says "Great, I've got all my dominoes set up exactly how I want them, next to the good china. Now I'll just place this priceless fabrege egg next to my newborn hemophiliac baby...." (peter lands outside, then approache...

yeah, I'd really love to actually see this thing. It can't be so terrible no one will distribute it. Grr, I hate traditional media sometimes.
