You insist on looking for logic. It's corrupt and illegal and immoral and unconstitutional and they all know it and they don't care. The system is not broken, it's working exactly the way it's supposed to, to incarcerate as much free labor as possible, and to destroy as many lives and families as po...

That is how the world should be. That's not the world that is. Most people do NOT get a trial. They are forced to plea bargain, and those who demand a trial are punished, and go to prison, pretty much for life. Of course it's illegal and immoral and unconstitutional. They threw away that old rag yea...

Prison slavery is more profitable than chattel slavery. If you're a major corporation, you get forced labor for pennies per hour, while the tax payer covers the real cost. You don't have to feed and house them, you don't have to round them up and beat them into submission. If they're sick or uncoope...

"Defund the police" is short-hand. It gets the point across in the fewest words possible. The police today are called in to a lot of situations where they don't belong and can do only harm. Autistic people are a popular target for ignorant cops who do all they can to trigger a panic reacti...

I was having a lot of confusion & memory issues. It's complicated, but I now believe stress is a big part of it. I now avoid idiots & hostile people as much as I can. Divorce & becoming a recluse cured a bunch of that.

The neurologist I went to in 2008 called it a "garbage pail diagnosis." And later that year, the supposed "expert" psychiatrist in autism spectrum (probably mostly for children) didn't want to talk at all. Just gave me a bunch of tests that made no sense. Like a facial recognitio...

It depends on what you need. Do you need the diagnosis to be eligible for some service or other practical benefit?
Or just for your own comfort? Either way, I would think that piece of paper from the local doc is good enough,
and cheaper. What can the guy in Thailand do for you beyond that?

Some wise man once said, "When your only tool is a hammer, every problem looks like a nail." You are right that she is not competent in your case. Whether she is technically "qualified" doesn't really matter. She doesn't know and doesn't want to know anything that would be helpfu...

1. Do no harm. 2. Make the world better in whatever way you can, even if it's only in a small way or for a single person. There's always someone who needs the kind of help that you can give. (Focusing only on your own needs is the fast track to depression & misery.) 3. Tell the truth as much and...

1850 and 1900 are pretty distant. If you look at old photos, they are usually looking away.
Anyway, the point is that I don't believe it's natural at all.
And it is considered aggressive or disrespectful in many cultures.
