if u think u are paid absurdly low say "Is there anything in the pipeline money-wise"

or "My wife/ mother asks about pay rates, are there fixed grades, scales of pay for this job that will arrive in the future" ?

.... be careful, they cld choose u on the next round of lay-offs.

this is interesting, happens less now as I'm in my fifties but yes it was all thro my chldhood and teenage years into twenties. luckily i have talent and ability (obsessive of course) in several areas and importantly in an area that can be turned into work, a livelihood. But i was always at my lowes...

often in the UK when younger i used to think there was a 'class' thing too .... my mind as now very alive and exploring, many seemed brain dead. Very seldom found any connection.

gifts embarrass me. all except an old foreign language dictionary that i had on rolling renewal for ten years (withdrawn and gifted to me) my wife quickly wrapped it on day after Boxing and I was near to tears, a total surprise, ... a good companion. otherwise the other stuff she got me soooo inappr...
