I'm wondering if more aspies than NTs go through puberty late, and if there is anything in particular that sets them apart from others, such as the sense of living less in their body than the average person, or being more childlike. I've felt emotionally younger than my age for years. And yes, I di...

I doubt it would be more an Aspie type of thing then it would be for NTs. I would think that it would be of bit of overload for many if not most Aspies. A large number here express that they are asexual. I'd guess that probably means that they are not interested in sexual bondage either. Though I g...

I consider myself asexual in that I'm not that interested in having sex. But maybe if I do meet the right person it will change and I want to do it with them. So I guess I could be demisexual but as I've never dated anyone, I don't think there's a way to know for sure. Does anyone think there's a wa...

recently, I've started to wonder if I'm being too paranoid and afraid to try when it comes to searching for a job. For years, I felt people sensed something different about me in social interaction but never said anything specific. As a result if a friend doesn't contact me right away in something o...

A few years ago, it did occur to me that there might be a connection. Since people with Aspergers tend to develop more specialized interests, it seems plausible that they might be more prone to developing fetishes out of what would be an ordinary experience that most others would forget about. As a ...

It's weird, I've always felt like I was emotionally younger than my physical age. I've not felt ready to move to a new stage of my life (such as college) until a few years after most people my age do. I feel like I'm stuck in a time warp where I'm not in the right period for anybody, people my age a...

What is so bad about what she said? These mandates are why health insurance is so expensive in the first place. By requiring people to pay for everything, the cost is so expensive that they don't get any health insurance at all. Insurance is supposed to cover catastrophic expenses. Otherwise it just...

I'm not quite sure what the question is asking but I think my answer would be yes. I don't know why. My parents have told me they cuddled with me normally when I was a baby and everything but somehow I often feel tense like I need someone to comfort me at night. Somehow I feel that I emotionally mat...

I've never dated anyone so I've never had a chance to have sex or even make out. However, I feel like I would much rather just cuddle. Sex seems sounds so much like a chore, I want something more intimate and emotional. And Erised, don't worry about being sexually inexperienced or not interested in ...

As South Park even said it best "either all of it's ok, or none of it's ok" I love that line. I'm not exactly sure if I heard the joke that well and didn't find it that funny. Nostalgia Critic doesn't seem like someone who wanted to be mean or offensive. I actually got to meet him at Youmacon 2009,...

Don't remember wearing diapers at all but I apparently wore them until a few months before I turned three. Never wore Pullups (not even sure if they had come out by the fall of '88 ) and never wet the bed either so that was it.

I did some searching on facebook and found these groups. I mean the high salaries part really pisses me off, that's just charity fraud. I haven't joined any yet but I wanted to point them out to those that might be interested. Autistics Against Autism Speaks http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=276...

| In my opinion, as long as people are mature about it and it is posted in the appropriate areas, I think posting about fetishes should be allowed. | I've wondered the same thing about whether fetishes are more common in people with Aspergers. Sure plenty of people without ASD have fetishes but it occurred to me about a year and a half ago that a condition like Aspergers that has a tendency to create fixations and special narrow interests might p... |
