Curiosity is shut down via the current system, creating the ADD disorder sudden appearance on the charts. One half of ADD is a person who can’t pay attention. Hi there, I don't have much more to offer you except to endorse DW a mom's excellent advice - it really does sound as if he's crying out for help and drawing attention to himself in these anti-social ways in a desperate attempt to get help with his difficulties. Also - please, please avoid bringing...

if it was me, I'd calmly inform him that i had noticed he had been stealing and that this is not okay because it hurts other people when he does this and hurts himself over the long term. I'd repeat that several times and make sure it had stuck as a sort of replacement for spanking. then he'd get ho...

I'm an NT, and I simply don't understand the anti-NT attitude. that certainly changes the game of making sense to the thread. Autism is called a spectrum because it's a wide group of people with different personalities, and neurotypicals are the exact same way. There is no clear-cut boundary betwee...

Is there any study that shows any relation between asexuality and autism? yes. No. It depends. Asexuality is an interesting term which has little to do with the actual psychology. Everybody has more or less sexual interest depending on a bell curve. Nobodies truly asexual since we all have sex orga...

The first time i went to see my psychologist, it felt like everything he was saying was nothing more then preplanned sentences that he probably uses on everybody else. At that time, he assumed ADD, possibly ADHD. When i got in there, he sat there for about 5 minutes, not saying anything, drinking h...
