| I took video clips of us today at the mom and tots class. The psycologist took one look and the previous video clips I've made of us playing on the bed before bed time, and she said that she is not acting like an autistic child, in her oppinion she is not autistic. But she agrees that she is behind ... |

| She had lack of eye contact at first. She would mostly play with the animals. We have 3 cats and a dog. She has known to play peek-a-boo since before she was able to sit. I still play it with her because it makes her laugh, and it is a good way to get her attention sometimes. She is making eye conta... |

| She was a year and 1 month old when I decided to come home. She said mamma prior to that, but it stopped. When, I dont know. I and my husband love to be in front of the computers. | Can a child be misdiagnosed? I was told by the speech therapist that something was wrong with my child and she referred me to a psychologist. The psychologist tested her and said she was autistic. After that, I spent more time getting her to make eye contact, things I did not bother to do for about ... |

Sometimes it is good to ask a simple question and to see what the outcome of it is. Sometimes answeres are stumbled apon. But you can never know unless asked.
My daughter was a month premature.
Sorry about the "no" opton, I thought I had it in there, it obviously did not take. |

I know I was born 2 months premature. I only talked and walked when I was 3years old. I remember growing up being in a daze as a child. I am still an anti social person.
My daughter was born 1 month premature. She is the one who was diagnosed to be autistic. They used a suction cup to get her out. |

Well, all I can do, is give it time and see if there is any visible results with changing over from cow's milk to soya based milk. The wheat is another story, It could be that she can cope with that, but I'm not going to take that chance. I will look into what foods can replace that.
Thanks. |

| I just want to say thanks for all the advice, it is much appreciated. And yes, I am well aware that she has certain nutritional needs. The soya milk she is on is meant for children from 7 months on wards, and it has 300mg of calcium per serving, as well as other vitamins. She will be getting lots of... |
