Hi everyone. I haven't posted here in over a decade! I just recommended this site to a friend who recently discovered they are Aspie, and it reminded me how valuable this place was to me way back when. I thought I'd pop back in and see what's what. As for me, I'm a 35-year-old poet living in New Mex...

A friend of mine just told me about a film entirely in Esperanto, starring William Shatner, called Incubus. It sounds like the most fantastically bad film ever made, so I am going to hunt it down. I say if you're interested, do it! That's the best reason to learn anything. I'm learning Irish simply ...

While I passed the written tests in high school driver's ed with flying colors, I failed overall because my driving is so terrible. I tend to space out and run red lights and stop signs, and simply do not trust myself or expect anyone else to trust me when I'm behind the wheel. I find it nearly impo...

Yes, I often do feel very male, but it is a fluid thing for me. I'll go for a while feeling quite comfortable as a girly girl, and then all of a sudden the gender switch is flipped and I'm all about boyishness. My husband and I often joke about this, and he tells me to simply "go with it". It's grea...

Monk is one of my very favorite television shows, not least of all because of my own obsessive-compulsive tendencies. I love how his quirks work in his favour. :D

And I also preferred Sharona.

It's best to pee before and after to prevent urinary tract infections; it may be a bit of a turnoff to say, "Hey, wait a sec, gotta pee!" but it's worth it! Does it hurt? My first time was very painful, but that was probably partly because I was so nervous. I bled a little as well. How did you feel ...

1 - a collection of short stories based on dreams. I am not writing them with the intent of faithfully expressing, image for image, what has occurred in the dream, but in a way that hopefully makes them accessible to people other than myself. 2 - a sci-fi graphic novel that is a collaboration with a...

TV: Friends - I can't relate to a single character Film: American Beauty, for the aforementioned reasons To be honest, though, I hate almost 100% of TV programs and films out there, which is why I didn't own a television for three years. Now I am living in someone else's house and she has a TV, so I...
