Let it be known that I find this discussion absolutely fascinating and will be following it with interest.

(Okay, it's true, I track threads that I like by looking at the "view your posts" link. Nonetheless.)

Answer the question Charlie Sheen.

Oh man... =( Is it too late to call Godwin's Law on this one? Dang.

As for you saying that you have 4 real friends after 3 weeks of college. Unless you knew them before, I would be cautious on calling them real friends yet. Yeah there probably friends, but sometimes those friendships go as fast as they came. Ive seen it happen to many people, you see 2 people hangi...

Oh, wow. Thanks, Kelsi. I just thought it was because I think visually anyway, being on the autistic spectrum. Actually, I thought all of us got those perceptions. Thanks for letting me know - it makes things clearer. :) Not quite the revelation my AS diagnosis was, but very interesting...

Magnus, what is the significance of your link to your argument? Additionally: What is the cause of these children's mutations? With close searching, all I could find was a single reference to uranium munitions - I assume the author of the page is blaming the deformities on radiation affected fetal d...

I have noticed that a lot of posts on this board, as well as in the Haven, are about people's difficulties making friends - good friends, best friends, friends that last longer than the relationship being convenient, significant others... I am in my third week of college and so far have around four ...

I'm rather dogmatic about facts and proofs, but mostly because I am one of the most intelligent and knowledgeable people I know and actually am almost always right in these regards. (I don't like saying this, because it seems arrogant, but evidence shows it to be true.) Therefore I always argue when...

The first time I found out about the condition last year, I thought it was very interesting and did some research on it, but even though I have interesting understandings of my perceptions I never thought I had it. Some of my experience did remind me of it, though, so I humorously designated myself ...

I'm a Jew! =D Nominally, at least. And in this case I just think it's really weird. I mean, why would they come up with a Hitler costume for babies? (<- Asperger logic-mind.)

Also, it looks kind of weirdly ecstatic about its situation.

Let's be realistic and call this sexual assault, if not attempted rape. Forcing someone to perform sexual acts by using threats to their life is nothing less.

The evil penis as a meme? What kind of commando-feminist garbage is that?

No, it's actually satirical. They call it the "evil penis" because people react as if it were evil when it appears in art, but there is a double standard because no one reacts that way to female nudity.

I find everyone's reactions in this thread, barring Ishmael's, rather puzzling. I realize this is a standard reaction to stories about people being put on the watchlist, but did any of you actually read the article? To re quote: In 2002, they were jailed after breaking into an unmanned missile site ...

In 2002, they were jailed after breaking into an unmanned missile site in northeastern Colorado in protest over the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. In some cases, it is kind of a stretch to figure out why people were put on the watch list, and one fears government power. But I would say that this is fai...

I actually generally tell people about it if I'm going to be interacting with them a lot and suspect that I may be acting wrong, to the point where my disabilities services advocate explained to me that it's his job to do so if it's necessary and I'm not to do so because people are likely to misunde...
