Right now, I'm really enjoying strawberries and mineral water.
Tomato slices with sea salt are another drug-like wonder.

There are periods when I will have three books going at one time. I'll have one in the family room, one in the bedroom, and one at the top of the stairs. I read bits from each one, whenever I have the time. The most interesting one gets finished first. There are also periods when I will do most of m...

Unless it's my children in need of my support/comfort, I walk away. So, yes, I've been called cold and uncaring. My feeling is that people should reign in their emotions.

I've no difficulty sleeping, these days. I get about 8 hours (a night), during the week and a few more (per night), during the weekend. However, when I was taking medication, I could not sleep without taking a sleep aid (more medication). The insomnia was awful and the lack of sleep made me feel lik...

Diet Coke makes a version, using Splenda, rather than aspartame.
I'm not a big fan of fake sugar, but when I'm craving carbonated syrup, this is the one I go for.
For a healthier alternative (and a lil fizz), there's Perrier, with lemon.

I like strawberries, even more.

Robotic. Yes.
I was taught as a child that one should be able to balance a book on one's head whilst walking.
I also find it uncomfortable to swing my arms when I walk. I mean, what does one do with the arms/hands? So, I keep 'em hidden in the pockets of my coat.

My answer is, Yes. My family is forever pestering me to meet people, go places, do something (else). My life, as it is, is calming. Peaceful. My children are intelligent, well-mannered, happy, and healthy. As I've said before, eccentricity is not (necessarily) a bad thing. If you've created a life f...

I've watched it (more than once) and even though there's something, "not quite right" about the acting, I'd still watch it again. In fact, I might watch it again, today. :)

Only one?
I suppose I'd like to stop time (for everyone except myself, of course). Then, I could pillage, unchallenged.
Erm...or the ability to fly.
OR, shape-shifting...

Actually, I refuse to pick just one. I'll take all three, with the option to add more, when they come to mind. :D

The Horror Aficionado

48% chance of survival!

But, ya see...when I'd go to the garage to check on the dog, I'd be sneaky AND armed. Do I get any extra points for that? :)

This does seem to be a common thing.
I am not all that fond of being touched, anywhere.
Having said that, if someone touches my head, it triggers my "fight or flight" reflex, in a big way.

But, there are just so many to choose from. :)

Playing the piano is a good idea. My children have a casio keyboard with light-up keys, so that one can play without actually knowing how to read music. It is quite helpful, not only for manual dexterity, but also for focus. http://www.casio.com/products/archive/Musical_Instruments/Lighted_Keys/LK-2...
