I toe-walk when I'm sock- or bare-foot, and tend to plant my foot toe-ball-heel when I'm wearing shoes (except for high-heels, that's heel-toe).

Overt bullying was almost exclusively boys, stuff like pulling chairs out from under me as I tried to sit down or pulling hair.

More covert stuff was girls, like exclusion, rumors, false friends, etc.

Now the military has an official policy banning individuals with AS from service as well. What country is this? I've never heard of that policy! Also, I have Asperger's (official diagnosis at age 15), was bullied from kindergarden to high school graduation, and am a Zoology major in a highly accred...

I have a few in the design phase. The first is going to be around my right ankle, its the famous quote from the Lord of the Rings: "All that is gold does not glitter / Not all those who wander are lost." I was thinking about splitting it, one line around each ankle, but I have several scars on the l...

If you mean, do I like muscle cars, trucks, planes and trains etc. If you mean, that I can fix aforementioned car and know how to use the machinery and tools in my workshop. If you...

If it signified trying to work out the puzzle of understanding and accepting us, I'd like it. If it signified trying to work out the puzzle of making us fit in, I'd hate it. ^This. I tend to be fairly ambivalent toward the symbol. I see my own mind as a puzzle, one that I will spend the rest of my ...

Mayhaps you could do a post on the differences between women and men on the spectrum?

Can they take your degree away? In a word: no.

I understand the feeling; I've had similar dreams before, as well. Typically I chalk it up to stress and ignore the dreams.

University studies have shown that 96.65% of the 10,000 teenagers tested, Used a form of bullying as stress relief, could 9665 teenagers be wrong? As a side note, the other 3.35% used drugs. - Physical problems? Stomach troubles, diarrhea, constipation.... Nothing along these lines for me. Not on my current one...

Lack of awareness of personal boundaries and sensory processing issues could explain what is happening. I have a 10 year old son with Asperger's and he will grab arm and squeeze hard when he's excited. He's been doing this since he was a toddler and I tell him it hurts, but he continues to do it. H...
