For me, the isolation or sense of not fitting in began in the 7th grade where graduates of various elementary schools suddenly found themselves all in one building. The first day of school I got laughed at and ridiculed for not having white socks, and then many other "differences" or whatever just ...

Kindergarten-4th grade= FINE 5th grade= A BIT SHAKY 6th-8th grade= ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE 9th-12th= FINE COLLEGE= GREAT I was only bullied in middle school. In HS, I was considered "weird but funny." 6th - 8th grade. I'm not fully surprised, lol.
