I like Hiroshige. I'm not as into Hokusai. There is another artist who is not that well known, Harunobu, who I like a lot, as well. His line work and color schemes are much more delicate than a lot of artists' prints. Amano is amazing, I have his "Biten" artbook- full of beautiful stuff. He did desi... |

Hrm, that sucks... I guess I'll see how it goes. If I can sell these decently well I'll order some from a nicer place. |

Thanks.
Quote: I've used Cafepress before. I didn't like their stuff because it was rather poorly-made.
How so? |

In regards to the independant travel suggestion, it's something she will have to do eventually, and if you want to assist her, you can ease her into it. It will probably help build her confidence to know she can do things on her own, her teacher is right. Personally, I did not get my driver's liscen... |

I see no reason why aspies shouldn't hang around together if they get along. However, just because two people are on the spectrum they will still have different personalities that might clash so it's not a guarantee. I think however having someone you could share your experiences wouldn't be all th... |

Do any of you all enjoy those lead-vest type covers that the dentist puts on you when an X-ray is done? I LOVE those things! Most people complain about how confining they are, and how heavy they are. I can't wait for that part of a dental exam to come up. Yes, I love them, too. When I went in for a... |

I am going to make a weighted blanket, I came across instructions online, and it seems fairly simple. The recommended weight is 10% of one's body weight. I'm not sure, but this seems a little high to me. I guess I will have to try it out and see what works for me. Anyway, my question is, does anyone... |

Would the aliens notice any difference at all? Probably not. I agree. Autistics may feel like aliens, but are not aliens. Who knows what life from another planet/galaxy/etc would be like? It's more likely that they would be so unknowledgable of human culture (which differs in different regions, rac... |

That, and sour cream.
I guess I am a pretty picky eater, going through this thread I thought of several other things I can't tolerate. Pork included. |

"Slimey" foods. I used to be even worse about it (couldn't even abide the texture of bananas, I still don't like them but they aren't *as* bad). My most hated food (texture-wise) is bread pudding. Taste-wise, peppers. Especially the peppers which are marinated (and thus both slimey and bad tasting). |

Quote: Civet is my twin, according to some people who have scoured the pictures page and looked at pictures of her and of me. The resemblance is kind of creepy.
Yes, our face shapes and features are pretty similiar.
We're also both from the New England area. Have any family in NH or CT? |

Oh yeah... I meant to ask in my previous post.
When you sign up is there an option to make your profile viewable only to members?
I'm considering signing up, but I don't really want anyone who stumbles upon the site to see my info. Just people who have an account, if that makes sense. |
