I actually have a similar question. I just filled the ASDS out for my 8 year old daughter - it added up to 43, but I'm not sure where it falls for an actual score. I can't seem to find anything else online, and I was happy when wrong planet showed up in my google search (it always does  ) I don...

It's not so much that I'm "freaking out." I'm more concerned with her and how SHE'S going to handle it. Even if I do go with the "women have been bleeding since the beginning of time" approach, how do I talk to her so SHE won't freak out? I'm sure I'll figure something out. This is the girl I potty-...

She's PDD NOS/ADHD/Bipolar And tonight we were talking before bed and mentioned some changes that were going on w/her. | I'm sorry I didn't actually ask the question... but I think I got my answer: was what I orginally described form of stimming? It's really been bugging me since I found out there might be someone else out there that needs stimulation of some kind constantly.... even if it's for the point of becoming ... |

Because I didn't recieve a diagnosis until I was an adult and raising a daughter of my own... I don't have the "vocab" for the behaviors I have cultivated and controlled. When I was a kid, I used to constantly annoy my mother with repetitious activity... little things, like: organizing m&m's by ...

First off I have to say that you are SO lucky to have a mother like that! Maybe it's cause I'm an American, but sexual feelings of any kind were considered very very very wrong until I was at least 16! As far as the vibrator goes, though, I think she went a little over the top. since you don't want ...

I've found if you ask the more generic questions like "what are you into" you will in fact get NOTHING in response HOWEVER, if you ask for exampe "did you read <insert a book title" you have a better chance of getting a yes or a no, and if your lucky - a "nope, but I HAVE read <again, insert book ti...

It was full of nerds like me and I was able to connect with them really well, and even meet some of them in person without it feeling horrible and weird.
