well there's an evolutionary reason for women being picky: They have a much larger investment in the relationship. A man can just bugger off after impregnating the girl, but (in the time when we developed) a women was stuck with the child for at least 9 months, during which she was weaker and more v...

You'd be surprised how much time my school spends teaching about the holocaust, since I attend a Jewish school. I might also point you in the direction of the crusades, the inquisition, and denote religion as one of the greatest evils of our time.

Racism is one of the pure evils of this world
along with sexism and homophobia!

Well saying it doesn't make it true. Why is it so evil is the question?

I have actually created a set of criteria that I use to 'grade' a prospective date/mate. Intelligence, problem solving, personality, physical ability, creativity, and resilience. I use a graduated scale, so for each criteria you fulfill, for example if you are good at logic problems, that's a point ...

one thing I would have a problem with about dating another aspie is genetics. Quite simply, I can't see a reason to date unless your looking for marriage. It follows then you should know about the traits that will be passed down to your children (at least if your planning to have kids, which I am). ...

I'm agnostic, but I never lie. I sorta worship knowledge, or at least that's the thing that I hold in the highest regard, and lying is the antithesis of knowledge, obscuring it.

That's true, that not everyone of a certain race will act a certain way, but we act racist because it is a useful thing to be able to stereotype. Since it is more likely that a black person will commit a crime, shouldn't the police officer choose the black person over the white person fleeing the sc...

Okay, why is racism so wrong? People *are* different because of their races. I'm not saying all black people are 'gangsta', but they have a greater disposition towards it. I've seen a lot more black people get arrested for violence, get drunk, chase me through the park, ect. then white people. And w...

hmm, this thread has gotten off topic, but I want to say that I would not merely because I wouldn't feel comfortable in such a vulnerable position, I probably wouldn't from a girl either. That said I'm kinda hypocritical because I want to suck off a guy to see what it's like XD. So far no one's take...

This is a bit late but.. In Genesis, it is said that 'God created man in his image; male and female created he them' This is not true. It says: VOmer (God) naseh Adam btzelmanu. Translation And god said, let us make man in our image. There is no mention of making man and woman at the same time, at l...

I'm I the only one who really likes using emoticons? It is a lot easier because I don't have to actually make facial expressions, and their only necessary to convey strong emotions.

You need to put a # in front of the deb cdrom part like below

Okay, here's the thing, I'm using 8.1, and ,my windows driver cannot be read. The troubleshooting tells me to install NDISwrapper from the install disk, but my "install disk" is on my flash drive (I have no CD drive), so when I try to install the updates synaptic manager tries to read from the cd an...
