Oh yeah, somehow I left this out of my original post. Self-diagnosing yourself with a condition as complicated as AS isn’t always the best way to go. Although the experts themselves aren’t perfect, they are much more qualified to make these types of calls then we are. If you suspect that you may hav...

I was finally able to see a specialist earlier today, and he virtually said that he doesn’t think I have AS or any other PDD. Doing the right thing does not make you superior. Being humble will make you better. You sound like many recent college grads. They think that they know it all. just an example, I'm not implying that you are a recent college grad I tried being humble earlier in life, all it did was encourage people...

Now that I'm older, I think of one's measure as a person is, "When you leave this world, did you ...

My dad told me I have a superiority complex today, and while it’s true that I feel as if I’m better than everybody else, I don’t understand why this is such a bad thing. I go to school full-time and get very good grades, I still manage to hold down a part-time job at the same time, I never used ill...

Our purpose is the same as every other species, to procreate, and then die.

I find the monastic lifestyle appealing. I value structure and order as well as lots of reading, writing, and alone time. It would also give me an excuse for not having to be a part of the outside world.
