Well...that was a rather depressing response...

I guess I'll try and hunt down the AFF (Aspies For Freedom) for ideas. I don't like to think there is no hope. If there is no hope, however, then the answer is simple. I'll leave what I have to someone who can bring forth hope.

Wow, a simple yet surprisingly interesting topic (for me, at least). I can both relate and not relate to the notion of being an "outcast". In grade K I was the coolest kid at school, which always struck me as weird. In grade 1 I was made fun of by one of my "best friends". Which resulted on my dropp...

Maybe it means you hang-out with yourself and are self-centered? I don't like "pretty" little phrases/quotes. Same with analogies, they're often far too simplistic. Einstein once said to never simplify anything more than it can be simplified...but, I suppose I just broke that rule by trying to descr...

I really hate bumping, but I'm really hoping some people on this community would have some good suggetions. I'd figure the people who keep most on top of these foundations are the people who have AS or a loved one with AS. So, lol. Maybe I'm wrong? Good timing, too. I just experienced a very-close d...

I addressed both of those ideas already, ha-ha, but thank you brook & katie for your response. I'll elaborate my thinking, for convinence. Katie: Like I said before, it would be nice to know that the organization is solid and can withstand bankruptcy/failure. It's not going to be "50 years" unti...

All the scores you guys are posting make me feel as if I don't fit in... I wish I didn't close the window (I went back to the address, but the diagram is gone now and I don't feel like uploading a bmp file to a filehost site). Mine was VERY different from those of you who posted so far. The image is...

Nonsense! There is no plot to do away with Auties or Aspies. Most people are indifferent. I have to agree. However... In one of my Psychology classes this semester (I'm a junior in college) in a 300-level special topics honors course (so...the smartest of the smart undergrads, at least that's what ...

Hey all, First time I've bothered to post here on WrongPlanet, but I've visited and read the threads around here once in a while over the course of the past two years. Love the community aspect (just too busy to really participate myself). I had a question for all my fellow aspies, though. I'm curre...
