Disaster Movie is (or was recently) voted the worst moie of all time on IMDB.

Brooks movies have been only OK recently. Good, breezy entertainment, but not the powerhouses like Young Frankenstein, or even the hidden gems like High Anxiety.

Don't take it too hard; the guy you were arguing with is so far out there it's not worth getting upset over (it's not just that vaccines cause autism, but that the fact us part of a huge cover up, as the illuminati want to dumb down everyone to make a takeover easier).

I do, stemming from the aspergers. It doesn't hurt me too bad socially, but that could be a mix of having a milder form and of keeping it under control through being aware of, and getting used to it.

Have you ever read Marshall Mcluhan? He talks about technology reverting man back into a tribal state (he coined the term Global Village, as well as the medium is the message). I'm hoping to get reading some of his stuff soon, it sounds very interesting.

I've found that a study group/partner can be the way to go. Someone to explain it or use a visual aid (i.e., chalkboard). That helped me get the basics/general principles and ideas, and once I had those, I was able to hold my own on during the test.

I've always had that problem. If I haven't internalized something, and understand it inside and out, I feel like I am not grasping something, and can be forgetful.

I like how they are calling you mean for not playing a game you have no interest in (and constantly badgering you), and you are the childish one. But seriously, it doesn't sound like you did anything wrong. As why she is upset, then, this is a shot in the dark, but maybe she feels not doing this one...

I enjoyed Seventh Seal when I saw it a few years ago; the others I want to watch, hopefully soon.

Did you ever see the show SCTV? I think you would enjoy this:

Yeah... I'm wondering about that kind of thing myself. Never had a GF (something close in college, but it wasn't meant to be. Or something. My awareness was horrible, so I actually couldn't tell you how far it went, just that I've never gotten that close to a relationship again). I have trouble imag...

I can fall into this as well; though it is not so much getting lost spatially, but mentally, and I end up backtracking to go where I was originally going. Wandering through supermarkets is a favorite past-time of mine. On the plus side, I find the best deals on food and save some money.

Is there a lot of stress going on in your life (or more than normal)? I've had the types of dreams you're talking about (I just had a couple recently), and I think it is stress related, though the dreams usually aren't about what is stressing me. As far as advice, if it is the same situation as me, ...

You've hit the nail on the head about the worst aspect of AS. It is neither here nor there; a balancing act between not being low-functioning, and not being normal. That must be especially hard that there are no support groups by your; jointly celebrating our seperateness seems to help a lot. Have y...

I can totally relate. I withdrew from college midway through my junior year, about four years before my diagnosis. I was always tired, was missing classes, and just didn't care anymore, and didn't want to waste everybody's time and money (mny own most definitely included). I never went back, and tho...

I can be some of what you are saying. While I enjoy talking about shared interests with someone, I can be tentative about hobbies with certain people (or types of people). Our interests, I think, can speak volumnes about who we are given how much time, energy, and thought we can put into them (kind ...

Yeah, selling your interest is definitely a huge help, not just for being willing to sell, but for making sales, as if it is an interest of an AS person, they tend to have more product knowledge than the usual salesman (or a willingness to keep on learning).
