Omg, My mom had type 1 which is the childhood onset kind not the genetic kind. i'm not the only kid she had just the only autistic one and she had me at 37. |

You're not weak and having those feeling is totally normal because I'm sure alot of us on here including myself have felt that way and worked around it to be better people. I think the best thing you can do is talk it out with someone you trust or write it out. |

Some people just don't want to face the truth of things. Alot of people don't belive in doctors which is why they don't believe in AS. |

There are aspies that are good at sports and some that are not. For the most part it has to do with gross motor skills and hand-eye cordination. None of which I have , that is why I always felt left out because I had no athletic abilities except for walking long distances without getting tired, and ... |

I really don't like bikes. had too many accidents with them and I'm not very good at balancing on them and trying to ride. Once i get moving I start to wobble and end up steering myself into something. |

I'm fine with making calls out, I just hate it when my mom asks me to answer the house phone and its one of her friends or a stranger then i'm not sure what to say or I just run and pick up the phone and hand it to her because I don't want to deal with it. |

I think it's worse to be down syndrome because with that syndrome you have only so many oppertunities in life. I wouldnt want to ne pitied for having down syndrome or any syndrome. it all really depends on the individual, but the social part doesnt bother me, it's the school work and the fact that the school district I graduated from didn't properly prepere me for life beyond highschool so doing college english was hard because I never learned MLA or APA till I got a book on h... |

Well it's all biological that determines if we're autistic or not and some environmantal factors.
