Hala! That's wonderful! Good job! I was wondering about you today and am so happy it worked out. People are pretty good and I've found that classmates are more prone to root for one another than not. Look at you! You ought to do something nice for yourself. Congratulations! Now look, all of us scat...

Thank you so much for your support and advice everyone, it really helped me. :) The presentation went fine, I am so relieved. In no way am I a great public speaker, but I didn't fall to pieces and (I hope) my fear wasn't too obvious. That's a huge achievement for me and I felt proud of myself, which...

I have to give an 8 minute presentation to my form group tomorrow. I am beyond terrified and am convinced that it's going to go horribly wrong. I find it hard enough just to talk to one person, never mind 20 people. I'm just know that I'm going to stutter, jumble up my words, mumble quietly and inco...

Drinking water in an awkward/uncomfortable manner works every time for me.
(Eg. holding cup with arm very twisted, trying to drink with fingers in ears, drinking whilst holding breath etc.)

my fake smiles never look even remotely real; I think they're more of a grimace than anything else. That's what most (if not all) fake smiles look like to me. It's weird....Aspies are supposed to be poor at recognising facial cues, so why do I see what neurotypicals don't? Are they really taken in ...

I went to America when I was about 5 to visit some friends of my parents and their son. I remember the 10-year-old son showing me and my twin brother shadow animals using his hands. I was completely enthralled by them and practically worshipped him for the rest of the trip. So yes, I guess I d...

It doesn't physically hurt me to smile but I find it incredibly awkward and uncomfortable to do so. I find it near-impossible to smile on cue and can't hold it for long. If I try to hold a forced smile my lips start to twitch which just looks even worse. When I do manage them, my fake smiles never l...

I love the names you chose for your fish! :D

I second that. :)

I don't like bright sunlight. It makes me sneeze and squint so much that I look like I'm frowning. Not fun.

I do that too, I feel it lets me off the hook a bit. I absolutely hate getting asked questions, especially personal ones. When people ask me something it makes me feel like the whole world is watching me and listening to what I say, which makes me worried that I will say something stupid or wrong. S...

^ Looks like a dragonfly to me. I don't think it's a damselfly because its eyes are close together and its wings aren't folded. Then again, I don't know much about insects either.
I love dragonflies; they're so pretty.

I hate it when people look at me as I'm passing them. It makes me feel really uncomfortable and put on the spot. I tend to stare at something else until I've passed them, sometimes I will look at the ground or into the distance and other times I will look to the side as if really interested in somet...
