I prefer C# for many reasons. The main reason is that the language is more consistent. Some aspects of Java hurt my head. And the generics are completely f*d up.

Maybe I should also mention that I usually get my day's work done within about 5 to 10 minutes. The rest of the time I pretend to be busy, otherwise they will load a whole pile of futile "occupational therapy" stuff on me (work that doesn't need to be done at all), they cannot bear it if someone is ...

I should mention that I get off the medication for a couple of days on a regular basis, just to prove to myself that I am not addicted. But usually I do this when I don't have to meet stupid people.

quite correct. although currently I am off medication due to prosecution. For me it was very easy to lay the so called dangerous drug aside. (the only adverse effect was one night of bad sleep and slight sweating) However, now I have to concentrate very hard on pretending to be normal. It is extreme...

@NUJV England is too flat and rainy for me. Don't get me wrong, I think it is nice, too. But I am a climber and mountaineer, I really need some mountains >4000 meters. Everything below 2000 I consider hills. @ASdogGeek What I despise about the US? Bill Maher sums it up nicely. for example the bible ...

I think about emigrating a lot. But I have built up an existence here, my family lives here, my partner is in a very good job and I know my way around in the local mountains. Not to forget my very few friends. And I managed to get kicked out of the militia, finally. Also, I can live with not having ...

As much as I despise many other things about the US, currently I wish I were born there. Unfortunately, this is really true. About the red button: don't take me too seriously, this is just an indicator of how fed up I am with this society. I did so many things for others, I am so generous and so con...

I don't know the regulations in other countries, so this may only be valid for my country. I have been diagnosed recently. As expected. However, I could have saved myself the trouble. There is no consideration for my situation whatsoever. I cannot believe it. First of all, to make my diagnosis offic...

Exactly! And just because a little alcohol doesn't do me any harm it doesn't mean that it won't do any harm to someone else. Especially if this someone else is a teenager. He should be so grateful that he never touched the stuff and should keep it that way if possible. You miss nothing except for a ...

sorry, was not here in a long time.

I meant the flaw that made the AI go dictator. In order to fulfill the three laws, human freedom was reduced to zero, so as to prevent any harm.

Me and my girlfriend are both Wing Chun enthusiasts and teachers. (wing chun is the martial art which bruce lee learned) Recently I have written a book about it, because most of the books on the market are much too esoteric and inconsistent. It has been received quite well. There is a webpage for th...

So how does one differentiate hallucinations from reality while under the influence of such chemicals? it depends on the substance if this is possible. most of the common hallucinogenes do not prevent you from knowing the difference, but still it is no guarantee. the solanaceous stuff on the contra...
