The thing is I want someone to talk to and I always wanted to prove the bullies wrong in high school (and some adults) who told me I would never get married. In fact, I considered suicide back in high school but thought things would get better. Now as I take a look back over 20 years later, I know I...

Thanks for your help everyone. I've tried online dating sites but I happen to be a short guy (5'2") and never get responses from women since they are looking for the "Tall, Dark, and Handsome" men. I just got rejected by a woman I thought was interested in me today and she won't even talk to me. It'...

I'd say teens are the worst, especially the high school aged teens. I have had some harassment from immature adults including one co-worker who just got out of high school and when I was alone would walk up to me and tell me how I will never get married and that I was a loser. Every time I screwed u...

I think a lot of people think I don't like people at all because I am willing to talk to cats, pet them, and hug them. I find it easier to talk to a pet because there really isn't any social norms and animals rarely reject their owners. They give you unconditional love while my experiences with peop...

This is a hard question to answer. I probably wouldn't try the "cure" at first because I have taken anti-depressants and had bad side effects and some were not listed as side effects. If the "cure" was safe, then I would consider trying it even though it is kind of too late for me at the age of 40. ...

I wasn't too fond of lunchtime! I disliked the taste of school lunch and didn't have any friends so I often found myself eating alone. I also was ridiculed in the lunchroom. I usually went to the Library and read copies of Compute! magazine (it was the 80s) and asked the Librarian to make copes of s...

Unfortunately I was one of the people who were seen as dumb. In kindergarten, a teacher noticed something strange with how I bounced the ball and contacted my parents to indicate that she thinks I am challenged. After some tests at a local University, it was determined I wasn't mentally challenged. ...

It really isn't the fact that I'm unmarried and probably never will be married that bothers me, what makes me feel lonely is I have no friends and would also enjoy the company of a female companion at movies but this isn't an option for me. In addition, Valentines day and any couples types of events...

Unfortunately it has been hard for me to accept that I have Asperger's. I was always ridiculed in school and told I would never get married and after being diagnosed realize that the kids who said I will never get married are correct. I don't want to live life alone but even though some people with ...

Because of the problems related to Aspergers and other factors, women find me boring and not worth their consideration. I find myself lonely and longing for the companionship that only a woman can provide. Does anyone have suggestions on how I can cope? I would like the companionship of a woman and ...

I scored 29. Some of those questions I wasn't quite sure on though. Do I pity people? I don't know, what does pity feel like? You do have a point. I tried to answer as best as I can. I do feel pity for people in bad situations and answered yes to a lot of the questions about empathy but in reality ...

I was in Special Education classes for most of my time in grade school. I don't know everything about my diagnosis but I was sent to a special school across town and spent time with students who were mentally challenged. The group I was with (they had 2 classes for special ed students at this school...
