I'm 32 and am currently in the last few months of a masters degree. I know quite a lot of people who've started a degree course in their 30s and 40s, in fact I think its becoming more common.

I applied to them when they were in Glasgow, I did quite well but don't really have any IT experience so didn't get a job. Not sure of the details I think they mainly perform freelance jobs for other companies.

To be honest I think I preferred the sound of the TR8, the snare sounded warmer to me but can understand how the newer machine is a lot more practical and easier to use.

I'm probably going to release mainly acoustic music as there's no other cassette label like that at the moment in the UK however I'll probably do other genres too. I don't think cassettes will become a dominant format like before but at the moment they seem to represent a cheap and easy way for new ...

Anyone else into the format? They've had a bit of a revival in recent years and as a result I'm looking into setting up a cassette record label as part of my post grad(we need to start some sort of music related business). I've already found an artist who's agreed to let me release his EP which I'm ...

There's less money in music now than in the past (which is probably a good thing as most albums were overpriced) but there are just as many people listening to and making music if not more. Live music is doing better than ever and although new artists are doing more for themselves I think record com...

Has anyone else in the UK applied for this and have you heard back yet? I've been waiting to hear my outcome since September, I've not really claimed disability before but what they said to me about how I could maybe use the extra money for going out and developing my social skills seemed to make a ...

I'm currently researching the return of cassette tapes among new artists for my post graduate course and am looking for anyone who's interested to take part in a short survey on it. https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/G2YX25Q I'm also looking for musicians who write and record their own music to give the...

I'm quite interested in it too, I currently work data entry and feel it would be a nice step up for a number of reasons. They seem to always be in demand, the hours are usually part time(at least here in the UK) and the money is pretty good.
