If you can't admit that an idea has fatal flaws and deal with them by pretending that redefining 'flaws' as 'talking-points' solves the whole issue - it'll continue to be a flop because when all the chatter stops and people take action all that matters is will it float? That's what I'm saying, we'r...

After reading posts here, I find it pretty interesting that despite the fact that we are all 'aspies', we can have completely different outlooks on how everything is to us. We still view things differently than each other, in some respects, in spite of our commonality. hmm, yes, interesting how dif...

Would an 'inner world' be analagous to what drives you, or what you focus on? Not to long ago my inner world would probably have been full with just depressive thoughts and outlooks. Now my inner world is dedicated to self-improvement. How to stop all the situations and experiences I hate from happe...

Thanks millie :) Yes, I have had a couple of meltdowns these last two weeks and i think you're probably spot on; there's way too many people and interaction, more than I can handle (which is one of the downsides of college) especially this year when I got stuck on one of the most social floors.. so...

It sucks but my advice to everyone is to do your best to cope with it and move on. No matter how hard you stew on it nothing is going to change. Yes it's going to be hard and it really sucks but thats all that you can do.

Honest answer: i think its all in your head. (which then manifests itself as reality, so it seems real, and actually is real to you , to break it down) No, I am an analytical being. On Wednesday a.m. when I looked in the mirror (in OP) my pupils were significantly dilated. Meaning, the green of my ...

I take any damnation of gambling very seriously. Besides the fact that I am a libertarian, and ANY limit on one's personal activities is beyond offensive, it actually affects me directly. I play poker for a living and because of two things, the full-of-themselves puritanical jerks and the casino lo...

I don't think the scenario is so far fetched. You're an optimist, and that's cool, but I'm a realist and I'm telling you, it is incredibly far-fetched. I'm all for it, but it ain't gonna happen. I may not be as firmly grounded in the drudges and cruel realities of the real world as you guys, but I ...

You raise the question, how long has this (i'll call it a) condition been around? I'm hardly a evolutionary expert by any means, but I mean, there's no way this was a recent development is there?

What about a scenario where, regardless of what sort of system they were in, the class was full of ambitious, bright and honest people? You know, where student B wouldn't be envious that student A did minimal work and yet recieved the same grade (while also bringing the collective grade down). Or be...

What I'm saying is that when I am alone in my space I feel the disconnect and the aspergers and whatever. I usually feel this way when I'm out and about too. However, there are moments in my social interaction, when I truly do enter, in a noticable but subconcious way, the NT world. I feel it. One w...
