I know it's a parent thing, but they are humans, they need to adapt and accept that I will not make use of, and sometimes do not want their input 100 percent of the time.

They've let me explore so much, and go so far within my own mind it's incredible I am very curious about mushrooms though, I've heard from other aspies that it really helped them out but I don't tend to do too well with hallucinogens...
