Hi, I'm a French Asperger undiagnose from montreal canada, sorry if some of my sentences happens to be uncorrectly formulated, it's not my first language. Alex, in your documentary, when you say "It's not me trying to be unpleasant, it's just the way my brain works". I really understand what you me... |

I'm so sorry to hear you have to go to someone else, GreenTea! I was all set to offer congratulations after reading through the thread. Your struggle makes me grateful that, despite the abuse and rejection I've experienced, even without being diagnosed, there's no doubt in my mind I have AS! IMO, there's no real 'humor' involved. The person doing this just wants the opportunity to laugh at/ridicule someone else's confusion. It appears, to me, to be insensitivity bordering on a type of emotional sadism. |

Everyone chill the eff out! What's this forum for again? Oh that's it, a syndrome that causes social interactions to be impaired, a tendency to see things in black and white, difficulty distinguishing deliberate and accidental acts...Need I go on? Quit the argy bargy and try to imagine how the othe... |

Anyway, I related to the article very much. I can tell how people are feeling very easily but it can be very overwhelming. Perhaps that is why autistics/aspies tend to avoid eye contact, some people say that "eyes are the window to your soul", in that case an aspie/autistic child would find it very... |

I can't vote because I don't think it's wrong, but it doesn't seem accurate either. Mostly, the author's focus just seems weird, to me! |

Every other day or so. I like to leave time for ppl to reply. Did it occur to anyone that the people most likely to take part in this poll are the more active users? Kinda makes the poll inaccurate... Only if we don't keep the thread alive long enough to catch the ppl who visit once a week?! ;) |

I agree with a lot already mentioned, specifically: Dr. Emmett "Doc" Brown (Back to the Future) Radar O'Reilly (MASH) The Professor (Gilligan's Island) Maxwell Smart (Get Smart) Niles Crane (Frasier) Dilbert Adrian (Rocky) Bridget Jones And some I didn't see suggested in the 20+ pages: Prof. Henry H... |

Ennio Morricone! Glad you mentioned him. I like the music from Untouchables and the Mission!
Tidbit: did you know that Randy Newman, Thomas Newman and Alfred Newman are related? Check out the last paragraph of this article <click>

I am a Bible believing protestant, totally not denominational. I was not raised in church but sort of "around" it. We would attend when we visited relatives. We prayed at home and read the Bible and had plenty of Christian materials (books, music). I do attend a n-d church fairly regularly, but I sk... |

I've been called for jury duty twice. The first time I went in with a book and an ipod for the wait. They told those of us that were "released" from duty by three in the afternoon. It was boring but not stressful. The second time I guess they didn't have enough cases for juries because I was release... |
