I had read a few months ago while researching new things about my Asperger's for a project that some doctors have found it possible that Asperger's while similar to Autism is not acutely on the spectrum. And they are taking it out and changing the DSM. Their whole point is on a spectrum all disorder...

I have AS with schizophrenic tendencies and touretts. It seems that anything will make anything worse. I'm allergic to animal protien as well, which makes all above things worse.

My family was very obligiatory yesterday, before anything went off the yelled my name and would then tell what the were lighting and what it would do, it helped a lot.

I am an adult with AS, and I have a bf who also has AS. Unfortunatly we have found out that some of the things that send me into sensory overload mainly sounds, he stims. I can deal with it ok, just not when his family or my friends laugh at us. But I guess were pretty entertaining, us on the couch ...
