Hi
A common one in Australia is "Map of Tassie" belonging to the call of 'show us your map of tassie'.
The natural shape of a womens pubic hair. Looks like Tasmania (Australia).
When I was a teenager back in the 80's, we called it 'Box'

Hi This doesn't directly answer your question, but I would like to share our experience with trampolines. We have two kids, 10yo Aspie and 7yo NT whom both love it. Our ten yo has been using the trampoline for about 18 months and it has really helped with his co ordination. He has really become quit...

Hhmmmm.... Subscale IQ score = 66 Subscale percentile = 1 and I was really trying to 'do well' You probably did better than you think. Only the subjective part of the test is scored. The objective part isn't scored unless you pay for it. Hi Marshall I was tempted to pay the $6.95 and find out more,...

Hi
It was recommended that we try out the Signposts program for behavioural issues. The website is here http://signposts.net.au , (Australian site).
Has anyone used this program and happy to share their experiences?
Thanks

Hi Aurea I just read this after sending you a PM about something else. This is awful and unfair, with so much going on. As you know our son has level 3 funding with DX's (Aspergers, ODD and ADD) which entitles him to an aid in school. Its been a disaster this term, but that's another story (as you k...

Hi, Thank you for your kindness, in particular Aurea for talking to us privately :) . I took the day off work yesterday and we found two other Public schools that will enrol him and cater for his needs. There is one private school close by which sounds promising, but we won't be able to check that o...

Hi Thank you for the replies. When I said Behaviour Management perhaps it wasn't the best choice of words. We are seeing a psychologist to help with ‘coping’, my son himself says he doesn’t know why he gets angry. I can easily see it, as his main ‘triggers’ are excessive noise and too many instructi...

Hello This post is one of desperation and frustration. I’d rather give a summary instead of one mega-long post. We have our 10 year old Son in a Government school in the Western suburbs of Melbourne at the moment. He has been suspended twice in a short space of time for aggressive behaviour towards ...

Hi, thanks for the welcome everyone I have been doing lots of ready but no posting yet. The 'pieces' seem to be coming together for me know, looking at my life from a different perspective. 1) I can see now why all my life people (Mum, Wife, Co-Workers) have finished sentences for me. I always thoug...

I can relate to all of this, especially this quote. I often realise afterwards, like much later afterwards that I put my foot in it. |

G'Day, just been reading some posts and this looks to be quite a supportive place to be. Here is my story so far... My 10 year old son was diagnosed with AS about 18 months ago. Since that time my wife has been calling me an Aspie, but not in a mean way - I always refused to believe it. In fact, my ...
