Another thought for you is that there are some ladies who's bodies absorb the babies back into the body......one week they are Pg but the next they aren't. I had a good friend who experienced that several times......so they adopted kids.

The mix up in words meaning seems to be an AS thing......not blaming those who are AS. But my husband and I go through this all the time. For a long time we figured it was a culture difference, he being raised in a military family mostly on the East coast and me being a country girl in the mid-west....
