| Caught some of my first head high and plus waves this weekend from the hurricane Bill swell. I understand the swell was not huge but considering it was flat last week it was a rush for a noob like me. I only have an 8' wood board that I made so that's what I surfed. Kind of stoked now. |

| I retreat inside very far although I continue to "function" throughout the day. I'm so disengaged that I will have trouble doing any task. For example I will stop paying attention to a lot of external stimuli so I have had dangerous experiences driving. |
