Did you know that the Liberal Arts are the arts that free people could pursue because they were not slaves? And without Slavery Athenian Democracy could not have happened, or the philosophical schools. Slaves during that time could be rewarded with freedom, but no one ever even thought about emancip...

I was already grown up when I had a sink full of dirty dishes. I got the idea that every time I ate I'd wash my dishes plus one that was in the sink. The problem was I'd be in a hurry or lazy and leave dishes unwashed so by the end of the week the sink was still full. So I decided to wash all my dis...

I have been active and odd my entire life. I was not diagnosed until I was 48. I always had a hard time making friends but I had some. In college, I was in the Odd Ball group. There were the Greeks the jocks the God Squad and the theatre actors. I defaulted to the God Squad and theatre people and a ...

I am not a writer but I have preformed on stage. Writing is a bit like stage work - there is more than one artist involved. The Actor and the Director my re-interpret the intention of the Author and the result is new art - not the "incorrect" interpretation of the Writer. With a written p...

I'm an expert at photography and writing. I am a polymath but good at a lot of things. I discovered I am a good cook which just happened. I am good at getting along with cats. I've had people ask me if a strange cat was mine, and I have petted mean cats without harm. I have a green thumb. I'm good ...

I'd want to remember my life. I'd want to take with me my photography and writing skills. I'd work for the high school yearbook, which I didn't do and take astonishing pictures for my age. This would help me get into journalism jobs. I'd write a great novel at a young age. I'd ask girls for dates. I...

I'm currently watching Battlestar Galactica, the second series. Quite a few pretty girls on the show. I think Sharon is the prettiest, but Laura Roslin is the one I want to meet at a convention. I'm older so I'm more taken with the older lady. I was very taken with Sharon Valerii / Boomer, but that...

We had an HO layout when I was young. When I played with it I went off and left a transformer on. I was prohibited from playing with it alone after that. My brother really got into it. My mother told me that when I got older it would be mine. When I told my brother that he said no way in Hell. I put...

I often overspend on my hobbies and often have credit card debt. I have too many interests, collecting cameras, Daguerreotypes and other had images, and growing carnivorous plants. When I worked I could keep up with expenses but now I am technically retired and looking after my mother. I have to get...
