I view romance as a torn (and thus useless) backpack that serves only to weigh me down. Having entered my mid-twenties without ever having successfully entered a relationship, romance has been jettisoned as a futile crusade whose pursuit could not end anywhere positive. With my hormones finally wind...

I'd actually had that happen on several occasions. Though granted, the fact that I've never been seen in in the romantic company of a female, wear those highneck sweaters during winter, have a personal theatrical tradition, and initially planned on spending the first decade or so of my adult life as...

Indeed. Though the writers and producers have denied any connection between Dr. Cooper and AS, and while I would usually consider a fictional character as being an aspie unless clearly labeled, I think that denying that Sheldon is an aspie is more or less along the lines of convincing yourself that ...

While it's true that we're made up of many stripes, we do seem overall quite accepting when it comes to the sexual preferences of others. While many might attribute this to simple open-mindedness, I would also point out that there appears to be a disproportionately large number of 22+ male virgins, ...

Am I the only one here who's be nicknamed 'Sheldon' (In reference to a certain Dr. Cooper from 'Big Bang Theory') by his circle of people? I get the strange feeling that that's highly unlikely...

OF COURSE there are people on this site that are virgins! This is wrongplanet! I'm 23 and the fact that we seem to have dozens of guys a decade older than me and STILL uninitiated is highly discouraging and makes me log on far less than I otherwise would. Heh...also unique to this site is the abilit...

At this rate I'll just be happy if I don't end up as a raging alcoholic. In these harsh economic times, that's all that anyone can really ask for.

One at 23 1/2 with with no end in sight. I came to terms with the fact that I would never be able to engage in romantic relationships much less anything else shortly before turning 21. It actually wouldn't be so bad if my educational/occupational opportunities hadn't gone down the toilet as well.

I'm at a bit of a crossroads. Having had my previous aspirations in the field of international relations blown all to Hell, I'm planning on either studying forensics or (quite likely due to the large part that math would play in any science-based career) teaching political science (which has GOT to ...

Yeppers...that's me. Anything beyond adding, subtracting, multiplying and basic division I can learn, but I have to use it on a regular basis to make it stick, constituting a VERY forimidable hurdle if I want to study infectious diseases.

:( (sigh). Unlikely...short of having some nasty pandemic rear it's head, I believe that no matter how much research surfaces, it will simply not get the adequate attention needed to become common knowledge. The vaccine paranoia will likely persist as "fact" such as the "fact" that 15th century Euro...

I played as an infiltrator, so I never got the hang of the psychic abilities, but that's just as well considering how I've never really bothered with magic/force/psychic in any of the RPGs I've played. Just give me a long barrel weapon and wait for me in the ship. So I suppose it's no surprise that ...

I play squad-based games with my friends quite often (usually with H3) so yes, we have taken an interest. I still wish I knew whether or not the four characters shown have unique abilities.
