I always thought a bigot was a person who uses their religious convictions to justify or mask either their hatred/fear of things they do not understand.

Had my second CBT session, and it's been really helping with the exacerbated and inflamed fears I've been feeling around my friends. This psychologist seems to care about how I progress over how much I'm paying her, which is refreshing. I was also given a really awesome bunch of compliments lately, ...

Pretty low. I'd say 0. Last year the guy who was my best friend for four years sexually and physically abused me. It only just fully clicked recently, and I've just started CBT for it. I have a good group of decent friends, but I've had my trust so thoroughly broken by this man that I'm afraid and s...

I know the confusion. I've never been able to work out how people fall into relationships. First time I asked a guy out, the guy said yes, but never organized a date, and nothing came out of it. I thought I'd done something wrong because nothing was progressing so I got really stressed out and upset...

To paraphrase Richard Dawkins, everyone is atheistic towards most gods in the huge array humanity has ever believed in, but some of us just go one god further than that. I think for a lot of the more vocal atheists out there, that one god tends to be the christian god. It certainly was the case for ...

"You're just like your father."
"You're your own worst enemy."
"Stop playing videogames!"

My mum is actually a great mum. She just gets frustrated with me a lot.

I fake it most of the time unless it's a person I'm comfortable with. Though, if it's a grave/confrontational conversation, I still can't help myself looking down or away from them.

So there's this guy friend I have. I used to have a bit of a crush on him, but it's largely gone away now (he didn't feel the same way :( ). We're pretty sweet friends though so it's okay. However, I'm really really sure he's either high-functioning or Aspergian, and I want to ask him about it becau...

What is the shape of God? ruveyn Phallic, no doubt. Well-played. *applause* I wouldn't say that there is a deeply rooted compulsion for human beings to worship, as it were. But listening to your elders who sound authoritative and taking their opinions as a given is a fairly effective survival tacti...

Yeh, I've been taken advantage of. By a guy who was my best friend of four years, no less. I didn't make the connection that he was being affectionate, making sexual advances and consoling in me constantly because he was on the rebound, and it went explosively downhill from there. We used to playwre...

My period just kind of happens. No cramps, no pain in the boobs, no bloating... I just go to the bathroom in the morning and figure it out that way. The only way I was ever able to track it was when I was on the pill, but that's because it forced my hormones into being somewhat normal.

All the time. I have a ridiculous amount of testosterone for a girl, so even though I'm bi, I come across as very masculine.

Oddly, I've had two gay friends admit sexual attraction to me before. Bwa?

I hated pink with a passion when I was younger. I still don't wear it. But then again, I barely wear anything that isn't black.

I really hate Eragon. I read the book to find out just how bad it was- and it was pretty horrendous (in my opinion). So the fact that there is a movie based on this terrible book... it irks me something fierce.

Gah I absolutely hate getting my period. Everything's just gooey and chumpy and IT SMELLS TERRIBLE.

Plus you can't sleep naked whilst you are bleeding from the crotch.
