And I always have a strange and sometimes very unpleasant sensation in my solar plexus. When I mention this to my doctors they just seem to shrug it off like I'm talking nonsense. Hi cosmiccat. I suffer the exact same thing. Both the sensation (which can build-up to feel like a blow to the guts) an...

What does a thickening of the pyloric muscles have to do with the way one's brain and mind function? Hi ruveyn. I'm not sure. I've seen it mentioned on another forum somewhere, from about 5 years ago, and was hoping we might know a bit more. There is a major nerve ganglion in the solar plexus which...

People used to make me so angry that I would hit them. They would make a joke, I would take it has an insult, an uncontrollable rage would rise from the pit of my stomach and pump my very being, and I would hit them. No wonder then that I could never keep a friend! Looking back, it feels like all th...

Hi. It's very nice to be here in your life.
Awww man, I remember that same awful feeling where my head went into meltdown - it had simply become too much effort for my CNS to support all that negative energy. Do you feel like your head is in a better place now? |

Define "enlightenment" That's a bit of a loaded question, but I think enlightenment can be summised as the realisation that thoughts are not real. Thoughts seem real enough, but they are only the product of synapses firing in the brain. Perhaps enlightenment can be seen as understanding that though...

I've only recently come to the conclusion that I have Asperger's, but my whole life has been spent in anguish over every aspect of socialising. I have also always been over-shadowed by an overwhelming sense of danger, like my body was permanently pumping the fight or flee response. This sensation wa...

Hello. I've only just discovered Aspergers but I'm pretty sure that I have had it my whole life. I've always thought of myself as being antisocial, or having an attitude problem, or suffering paranoid delusions, or having delusions of grandeur ... but as it turns out, I am trapped in a body that fai...
