Out of all the lunch trays to choose from at lunch time, there was one that looked different. Everyone in the whole school knew - that one was named after me. I think I might have had 3 or 4 kids that were nice to me in elementary school. I remember my third grade teacher made me wear a pacifier and...

I don't know how many others feel this way, but I absolutely dread being high on marijuana. I feel pressured into the whole non-verbal communication thing and it is terrifying for me. that's all.

The longest time I have ever spent alone was 8 months in the Ozark Mountains in Missouri. I went out there feeling good about leaving all the chaos behind. I lived next door to my brother and mom and that was it. I only spoke to them about 5% of the time out there. I was 17 & 18 years old. Event...

As autistic people I've noticed a tendency among us to love and hate things to extremes. Here's mine... I love thunderstorms. The more intense the better. It is an emotional roller-coaster for me. When I see a powerful thunderstorm approach me on the radar I become extremely exited. It becomes all I...

I think it is easy to come across as narcissistic with Asperger's especially if you come from a childhood of being ostracized because of having Asperger's. The complex would go from being different and outcast at first to feeling superior because of your difference / uniqueness. Ending up telling yo...

All of my thoughts are usually location / geographically based and almost always involve images. Sometimes I will be thinking about something I was doing in my kitchen a few days ago and then suddenly remember to myself, "hey, yeah, that's right! I AM in my kitchen" **However, abstract thought is an...
