Have you ever said anything while not aware you were speaking or thinking anything else? This happened to me twice in the same year. I was 13 and I was in my 3rd summer of panic attacks/anxiety. One day, while sitting at the table with my parents, I covered up my face. My father left and came back i...

INTJ.
Did someone mention that Calvin (from 'Calvin and Hobbes') has been described as having an INTJ Myers-Briggs type?
I feel a great kinship with that lil guy. |

I loved an article that was posted on an aspie site...I'll quote it here. A woman talking about being diagnosed with AS: "It was the only diagnosis that reconciled her ability to be really smart and really stupid at the same time" I get that a lot. My family says I'm a space cadet. I tell myself it'...

I still twirl my hair but I didn't knew I chewed my hair until grade 8 because I wasn't aware when I was doing it. I had a boy point it out to me in class one day and I was like "really? That's weird....". lol.

I actually had a phase of obsession that included reading books on etiquette and how to respond to social niceties. It does help a lot with social situations, but I am always exhausted because in my head I'm reminding myself of every detail I read. They do make it a lot easier to blend in, but I use...

I love it! The party one and the work one make complete sense. I'm obsessed with paper and anything I can write on it, draw on it, glue to it, make out of it and I became a teacher's assistant. Marking and making photocopies is a very zen thing. Plus, lots of time on computer's is soooooothing.

I'm able to hide my ineptness by keeping most people as acquaintances. I kind of overdo my reactions when I have friends who share 'big news' with me. I only have 1 friend I regularly spend time with and we both have similar obsessions(I suspect she has AS, too).

I love science and how it applies to daily life. I also enjoy science fiction because it shows these principles at work. However, I have always been artistic and gifted in english and music. I love making crafts. I also got a 50/50 male-female brain result! lol. I was wondering what that meant but i...

I love how you did that grouping of topic :D I'll do that, too. first jobs I was bad at showing up. I would feel guilty about it, but continued to do it when I felt too stressed. I'd say I was sick, but I'm sure it was mostly psychosomatic. I've now been in two life-skills programs offered to people...
