Annoyed, but not outraged. I think that aiming for better media representation of aspies (or whatever group) is a great thing to aim for, but we're not going to change perceptions by getting fighting mad. Just my two cents. I totally agree! And believe me, that's never been my approach! OK. Cool ^^...

He's fairly normal during the day, but becomes hypomanic (or full-blown manic) and depressed at night, switching between moods within minutes. Has anyone heard of someone...

Obsessive-compulsive disorder can sometimes manifest as intrusive, personally unacceptable thoughts (i.e., thoughts about killing people, sacreligious behaviors, etc.) Maybe something like that could be going on.

Why does it seem like aspies, nerds, otherkin, otakus, and other "weird" people seem to be disproportionally interested in anime? I haven't liked anime in the past, but after I saw Mushi-shi and some of Hayao Miyazaki's works, it started to grow on me. I'm currently watching some more mainstream ani...

I suck at routines. This. Also, I've trained myself to learn a lot about a person by looking in their eye. I can often tell at a glance who a person is. If they're a little aspie-ish, high IQ or low IQ, sensitive, antisocial, selfish, kind, a lot of that sort of thing. I once told a random person o...

It's because I'm non-judgmental and "crazy" doesn't scare/intimidate me.

This. I tend to make friends with all kinds of eccentrics.

I have no words.

I'll take that as a compliment. If I heard of me, I wouldn't have words either. My life has some bizarrities to it.

What does it actually mean to "know" a person? I mean, you can know a fact, but how is it possible to know a human being? The way I see it, people are almost infinitely complex.
