I had a dream I was abducted by aliens once, but I don't really recall what happened after I boarded their ship.
And if the aliens were smart, they'd sell the hour back to us. |

My problem is with passing and greeting in general. I never know if I should greet someone or not, wait for them to greet me, make eye contact, or what I should say. I think I generally just smile meekly and run away. It's much worse with people I don't know very well. I do think it's silly that we ...

Feminism is about a female's choice to do what she wants as opposed to what society says she should or should not do. There is not one type of feminist, and there is not one type of porn. A lot of it is incredibly degrading, and I would agree that those involved are certainly not looking for gender ...

I get so nervous running into people I haven't seen for awhile. Depending on how long it's been, I can't help but think about all of the stupid things I did at that time that they must be associating me with. The only thing that helps is that people have the tendency to like the idea of me more than...

People think I'm creepy too, but because I dress gothic I think it is almost expected. Personally, I like creepy people. If I'm on a bus and have to sit down by some stranger, I will probably chose to sit next to the one who everyone thinks is creepy and I think has the best chance of having a good ...

I never thought about this until recently. I go out to eat alone quite often and find it relaxing to bring a good book and sit in the corner. It wasn't until last time I tried to get friends to come with me, but they were all occupied. Being the stubborn person I am, I went out anyway, and it felt v...

I'm very empathic as well. When someone's going through something rough, I can help but impose myself into that situation, and get upset at the circumstances, and often, this world that we live in. And when somebody is happy, it seems like such a simple and pure emotion, and it inspires me so much t...

I second blaming it on allergies. People are so much more sympathetic when you have an allergy you can do nothing about. And if it's making you nauseated, you are.

I have never told an employer, because I frankly don't see it as anyone's business. Sometimes I wish I could so that my actions might be better understood, but they would be even more confused and I would probably experience discrimination. I guess it's hard for me to figure out how "normal" I seem....

I don't see the harm in giving someone a chance. You say that you know it's not going to work out, but in truth, you don't. You are assuming that it won't work out. The only reason I can see for not even being an acquaintance to this person is that I'm afraid your preconceived notions of failure wil...
